UX/UI Designer (32–40 h/w)
At TRIMM, we build digital platforms and applications that are used by thousands of people every day. To make this happen, we are looking for a UX/UI Designer who likes to be closely involved in the implementation: refining flows, creating and developing designs in Figma, and guiding teams and clients towards the best choices.
You will work for brands such as Grolsch, Demcon and Heuver, in projects where usability makes a difference in conversion and ease of use as well as in the efficiency of internal processes.
What will you be doing?
As a UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing the user experience of our digital products. Your role is broad, but the focus is on the operational development and monitoring of UX/UI within ongoing projects.
Specifically, you will be working on:
- Gathering and refining requirements (together with the client, team and stakeholders)
- Setting up and facilitating interactive sessions and workshops (e.g. goals, users, journeys, scope)
- Translate insights into user flows, wireframes and prototypes in Figma
- Work out UI and interaction details so that development can proceed immediately
- Coordinate with developers and project management: clarity, priorities, refinements, choices
- Schedule and conduct user tests (discovery or iterative during development)
- Analysing feedback/data and improving designs based on evidence
- Monitoring quality during sprints (consistency, UX principles, details, edge cases)
So you're not “just strategic” or “just pixel pushing”: you bring structure and ensure that designs are properly implemented in the construction phases.
Listen to the podcast below where we discuss this vacancy.
What do we expect from you?
- At least 3–5 years of experience as a UX Designer (or similar)
- Strong in Figma: from flows to prototypes and UI development
- You are able to liaise effectively with various stakeholders (customers, project managers, developers)
- You are able to facilitate workshops or are willing to develop this skill further
- You work in a structured manner and deliver quickly, without compromising on quality
- You have a keen eye for usability, consistency and details
- You have strong communication skills in Dutch and English (verbal and written)
- You enjoy sharing knowledge and (where relevant) involving others in your approach
Advantages (not essential):
- Experience with design systems or component-driven design
- Experience with B2B platforms, portals or more complex flows
What can we offer you?
At TRIMM, you will work with more than 80 specialists on digital solutions from strategy to implementation: design, development, hosting and further development. You will find yourself in an environment where we want to be able to deliver quickly, but with a focus on quality, substantiation and collaboration.
What you can expect from us:
- A competitive salary based on experience and role
- 27 days' holiday, travel allowance and pension scheme
- A strong focus on professional growth and personal development
- Generous training budget
- A comfortable workspace in our building in Enschede
- TRIMM activities such as sports, events, parties and Friday afternoon drinks
