HR Intern

HR Intern at TRIMM – Take your first steps in recruitment! Period: September 2026 – February 2027 | Minimum 32 hours per week | Enschede

Assessing applications, engaging and informing candidates, and contributing ideas on how TRIMM positions itself as an employer - as an HR intern, you’ll be right at the heart of the action. You’ll be fully involved in our recruitment and selection process and will have the opportunity to develop your skills through your own HR project.

As an intern in our HR team, you will support our two HR specialists and our payroll administrator. Together, we ensure that everything is taken care of from A to Z in the HR department!

Your role

Recruitment & selection – your day-to-day work

You’ll be taking charge of the entire recruitment process: assessing applications, contacting candidates, scheduling interviews and attending them yourself. You’ll draft job advertisements, monitor timelines and handle communication via our HR channels. No sitting on the sidelines here – just hands-on involvement and responsibility.

Jouw HR-project – Kies je richting

Option A: The employee of the future & building a network

Which skills and qualities will become indispensable in our field? You will interview colleagues and carry out market research. You’ll also look into relevant courses and student societies (vocational, higher vocational, and university level) that align well with this, and actively build relationships with them. Networking is something you enjoy and can really excel at! The result: a revitalised network and a concrete action plan enabling TRIMM to structurally strengthen and maintain its network with students and young professionals.

Option B: Professionalising our recruitment process

You will analyse our current recruitment and selection process, from job vacancy to onboarding. Through literature reviews, interviews with recruiters and hiring managers, and exploring new technologies in recruitment, you will identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement. You will deliver a concrete and well-founded proposal for improvement.

Besides that …

  • You’ll provide support with onboarding, birthdays, work anniversaries and corporate events
  • You’ll contribute ideas on strategic HR issues during team meetings
  • There’s plenty of scope to work on your own learning goals

What we are looking for

  • 3rd or 4th-year HRM student at a university of applied sciences
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
  • An interest in recruitment, networking and the technical job market
  • Available for at least 32 hours per week

What you’ll get / What we offer you

At TRIMM, you’ll be working in a dynamic environment. With around sixty specialists, we deliver online solutions for national and international clients in the B2B high-tech and manufacturing sectors. As the HR team, we ensure our staff are motivated and that the organisation runs smoothly!

PiT — our talent programme

You will become part of PiT (Professional in Training). This means you will receive excellent support and take part in weekly peer review sessions — a confidential group of at least three and up to around six students and young professionals who keep each other on their toes regarding topics such as motivation, feedback, study discipline and professional growth. Many PiT participants see this as a real asset to their development.

And you’ll become part of our HR team, where development is central, which also means:

  • Personal guidance from your management colleagues.
  • Weekly kick-off on Mondays — going through the week together, setting priorities, etc.
  • End-of-week reflection — looking back, evaluating and focusing (outdoors on a walk if the weather is nice)
  • Case studies — realistic HR issues that you tackle independently

And you will also receive:

  • 💰 An internship allowance
  • 🖥️ Your own workspace at our office in Enschede
  • 🍎 Fresh fruit every day
  • 🏃 Working out together during try-outs
  • 🎉 Great staff parties
